A review of postmortem human brain studies found that the ENSG00000263276 was downregulated in the anterior cingulate cortex of subjects with major depressive disorder who died by suicide, and its expression was correlated with NFATC3 [Yoshino & Dwivedi DOI:10.3389/fpsyt.2020.543893]. In forensic cause-of-death analysis, this lncRNA is identified as differentially expressed in the brains of depressed patients who died by suicide [Song et al. DOI:10.1007/s00414-023-03091-1].
